Pickleball and basketball courts
Resurfacing, color coating and inlaid line marking. Tennis to pickleball conversions are most of what we do now, at homes, schools and clubs.
The lines are inlaid, not painted on top.
What court work involves
An outdoor court has the same problems as any exterior slab plus one more: the surface has to give consistent ball bounce and consistent grip for shoes that stop hard. That means the texture is specified rather than whatever the roller leaves.
Exterior concrete has UV and thermal cycling on top of everything else. Materials that are fine indoors amber and chalk outside, so exterior work gets a UV-stable topcoat as standard.
Court questions
Do you mark the lines?
Yes, inlaid and to regulation dimensions for the sport you are playing.
Can you convert a tennis court to pickleball?
Yes, that is one of the most common jobs we get asked for now.
What about cracks in the existing court?
Control joints and cracks are not the same thing and get treated differently. A control joint is doing a job and needs to stay flexible. A crack is failure and gets chased out, filled with a rigid polyurea and ground flat before anything goes over it.
How long before it can be played on?
Cure depends on temperature. We will give you a date rather than a guess.
Is the surface slippery when damp?
No. Court coatings are built with a texture, and we set it for the sport.
Do you do home courts?
Yes, driveway and backyard courts as well as club and school facilities.
Call Kevin and talk through what the floor needs.
Kevin Garner started this in 2021 to build something the family could keep. Aaron, Kyler and Averie run the jobs with him. Covering Laurel and south Mississippi, the Gulf Coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish. Send us the details or see finished floors.
