Quartz Systems done in a day
Wet rooms need grip that does not wear off. Most residential floors go down in a single day. Walk on it in 12 hours, move heavy things at 24, park on it at 48.
Kitchens, wash bays and anywhere the floor is wet daily.
What we actually install
Graded quartz broadcast into resin in layers, built thick, troweled to a consistent profile.
Every job starts the same way, with the slab itself. The most slip-resistant and highest build system we offer.

Cure
Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
What the install actually looks like
Good floors are decided during prep, not during the pour.
The first hour on site is spent on the concrete, not the color. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Graded quartz broadcast into resin in layers, built thick, troweled to a consistent profile.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. Single day turnaround on typical residential slabs.
Kevin started it in 2021. Five years on it is still the same four people. That matters on a quartz systems job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Used a lot of flooring companies over the years on various jobs and lemme tell you you’re in good hands with these guys. From the quote to the finished job they were nothing short of professional.Verified review
Other systems floors we coat
The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a quartz systems job
Slabs around Laurel and down toward the coast are mostly 1970s to 1990s pours, and they were finished hard. A hard-troweled surface has almost no porosity left, which is why paint peels off it in sheets. Grinding opens that surface back up so resin can key into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it.
Garage aprons and interior slabs are usually separate pours at different times, and they move independently. The transition between them gets detailed deliberately so the coating does not split along that line.
The system we specify
We install Duraflex systems. The certification matters less than what it means in practice, which is that the product data is real, the cure windows are tested, and there is a manufacturer standing behind the spec rather than a generic resin bought on price.
The chip blend changes how a floor hides dirt. Multi-tone blends with some dark in them stay looking clean far longer than a single pale color.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Why the system matters more than the color
A resin floor is four products stacked in order, and each one has a job. The primer wets into the open concrete and grips. The base coat builds thickness and carries the pigment. The broadcast layer, whether that is vinyl flake or graded quartz, gives the floor its texture and most of its wear resistance. The topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV so the layers underneath never see either.
Skip a layer and the floor still looks right on day one. It fails in month eight, usually along the door line where the sun hits or in the wheel tracks where the load concentrates. That is the difference between a coating and a system, and it is not visible in a photograph.
You lose the garage for a day, not a week.
What we check before quoting
Wet rooms need grip that does not wear off.
What this floor has to put up with
The most slip-resistant and highest build system we offer. Graded quartz broadcast into resin in layers, built thick, troweled to a consistent profile. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a quartz systems job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Kitchens, wash bays and anywhere the floor is wet daily. One day on site for most homes. Full cure for vehicles is 48 hours.
Living with the floor afterwards
Maintenance is a dust mop and occasionally a neutral cleaner. No wax, no sealing, no annual reapplication. If someone tells you a coated floor needs yearly maintenance, they are describing their own product failing.
Warehouse floors want a scrubber with the right pad, not the most aggressive one available.
We work out of Laurel and cover roughly a hundred miles in every direction. That takes in Jones County, Rankin, Simpson and Lamar to the north and west, the whole Mississippi coast from Bay St. Louis through Biloxi to Pascagoula, across into Baldwin and Mobile County in Alabama, and west to St. Tammany Parish. Questions we get asked
What is the turnaround on quartz systems?
Most residential floors go down in a single day. Walk on it in 12 hours, move heavy things at 24, park on it at 48.
What does the first stage involve?
Graded quartz broadcast into resin in layers, built thick, troweled to a consistent profile. Prep is most of the work and all of the reason coatings last.
Will it hold up long term?
The most slip-resistant and highest build system we offer. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Do you cover the whole Gulf Coast?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Is the owner on site?
Four names, one crew. Kevin Garner built the company in 2021 to pass it on.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
How do you deal with a poor slab?
A slab poured in sections often has slight height differences at the seams. Those get ground flat rather than coated over, because a coating follows the shape it is laid on.
What upkeep is involved?
A dust mop twice a week does more for the look of a floor than any product you can buy.
Why specify a full system?
The chip blend changes how a floor hides dirt. Multi-tone blends with some dark in them stay looking clean far longer than a single pale color.
Call Kevin and talk through what the floor needs.
This is a family crew. Kevin founded it in 2021 and works alongside Aaron, Kyler and Averie. Serving Laurel and south Mississippi, the Gulf Coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish. See finished floors or get in touch.
