Warehouse Epoxy that survives the room
Forklift wear and endless dust. Most residential floors go down in a single day. Walk on it in 12 hours, move heavy things at 24, park on it at 48.
Dust stops coating the inventory.
What we actually install
High-build epoxy with marked traffic aisles.
Every job starts the same way, with the slab itself. Forklifts, pallet jacks and racking loads.

What the install actually looks like
The honest answer about a floor comes from grinding a patch of it.
What goes wrong with coatings almost always goes wrong underneath them. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. High-build epoxy with marked traffic aisles.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. One visit, one day, then 48 hours before the car goes back on.
Family run since 2021, and the same four people who quote your floor are the ones who install it. That matters on a warehouse epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Choosing somebody to do our Floors was a hard decision but I am so happy we picked ICM coating masters. The results are beautiful and The time and effort put into the work was amazing.Verified review
Other industrial floors we coat
The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a warehouse epoxy job
Slabs around Laurel and down toward the coast are mostly 1970s to 1990s pours, and they were finished hard. A hard-troweled surface has almost no porosity left, which is why paint peels off it in sheets. Grinding opens that surface back up so resin can key into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it.
New pours need to cure before they are coated, and the wait is longer than most people expect. Coating green concrete traps water under the film. We would rather push the date than come back to a blistered floor.
The system we specify
We install Duraflex systems. The certification matters less than what it means in practice, which is that the product data is real, the cure windows are tested, and there is a manufacturer standing behind the spec rather than a generic resin bought on price.
Epoxy is the body of the system and polyaspartic is the armour. The epoxy bonds and builds thickness, the topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV. Using one without the other is where most cheap floors go wrong.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Load, chemistry and temperature decide everything
An industrial floor is specified from three numbers: the heaviest point load it will carry, the chemicals it will contact, and the temperature range it will cycle through. Get those right and the floor is straightforward. Guess at them and you get a floor that looks correct and fails in the one area that mattered.
Thermal shock is the one most often missed. A slab that gets hosed with hot water and then sits cold expands and contracts against a rigid coating until the bond gives up. Cementitious urethane handles that because it moves with the concrete. Standard epoxy does not, regardless of how thick it is laid.
Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
What we need to know before specifying
Forklift wear and endless dust.
What this floor has to put up with
Forklifts, pallet jacks and racking loads. High-build epoxy with marked traffic aisles. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a warehouse epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Dust stops coating the inventory. A standard install is one day of work and two days of patience.
Living with the floor afterwards
Maintenance is a dust mop and occasionally a neutral cleaner. No wax, no sealing, no annual reapplication. If someone tells you a coated floor needs yearly maintenance, they are describing their own product failing.
Do not drag steel across it. Lift it, or put something under it.
We work out of Laurel and cover roughly a hundred miles in every direction. That takes in Jones County, Rankin, Simpson and Lamar to the north and west, the whole Mississippi coast from Bay St. Louis through Biloxi to Pascagoula, across into Baldwin and Mobile County in Alabama, and west to St. Tammany Parish. Questions we get asked
How long before we can use the room again?
Most residential floors go down in a single day. Walk on it in 12 hours, move heavy things at 24, park on it at 48.
How much of the job is preparation?
High-build epoxy with marked traffic aisles. Every job starts the same way, with the slab itself.
How durable is it in practice?
Forklifts, pallet jacks and racking loads. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Are you working in Alabama and Louisiana too?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Who runs the job?
This is a family crew. Kevin founded it in 2021 and works alongside Aaron, Kyler and Averie.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
What if there is already a coating on it?
Garage aprons and interior slabs are usually separate pours at different times, and they move independently. The transition between them gets detailed deliberately so the coating does not split along that line.
What should I avoid doing to it?
Keep the drains clear in a wet room. Standing water is not a problem for the coating and is a problem for everything else.
What makes the difference long term?
Moisture-tolerant primers exist for a reason and cost more for a reason. On a damp slab they are the difference between a floor and a warranty claim.
