What the install actually looks like
Good floors are decided during prep, not during the pour.
No two slabs in Jones County behave the same way. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Phased install with marked aisles and dock lines.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. We grind, coat and topcoat in one visit on most residential jobs.

What we find under a distribution center epoxy job
A lot of the slabs we open up have been sealed at some point with an acrylic nobody remembers. It reads as clean concrete until the diamonds hit it and the surface loads up. That is a full mechanical removal, not a light scuff, and it changes the day.
Moisture, contamination and surface profile are the three things that decide whether a floor lasts. Colour is the easy part and the only part most people ask about.
The system we specify
Full flake broadcast means chip thrown to refusal, so the floor is a continuous layer of vinyl rather than a base coat with decoration on it. That is what gives the texture its grip and what stops the colour wearing through.
Dark floors show dust and light floors show tyre marks. There is no colour that hides everything, and we would rather say that than sell a finish that disappoints.

Load, chemistry and temperature decide everything
An industrial floor is specified from three numbers: the heaviest point load it will carry, the chemicals it will contact, and the temperature range it will cycle through. Get those right and the floor is straightforward. Guess at them and you get a floor that looks correct and fails in the one area that mattered.
Thermal shock is the one most often missed. A slab that gets hosed with hot water and then sits cold expands and contracts against a rigid coating until the bond gives up. Cementitious urethane handles that because it moves with the concrete. Standard epoxy does not, regardless of how thick it is laid.
We are in and out in a day on most garages, then the floor cures.

Living with the floor afterwards
Do not use degreasers with high pH on a regular basis. They will dull a clear coat over time. Neutral cleaner and water handles almost everything.

Who actually does the work?
Kevin Garner started this in 2021 to build something the family could keep. Aaron, Kyler and Averie run the jobs with him.
Can I see the colour before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colours read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
What if the concrete is in bad shape?
A slab poured in sections often has slight height differences at the seams. Those get ground flat rather than coated over, because a coating follows the shape it is laid on.
How do I clean it?
A coated floor can be repaired in place. Damage gets ground back locally, rebuilt and blended, which is not possible with tile or with polished concrete.
Why does this outlast a cheap coating?
Clear topcoats are not all clear. Some amber noticeably within a year indoors under LED light. We use ones that do not.
