Self Storage Epoxy that survives the room
Long corridors that dust constantly. We grind, coat and topcoat in one visit on most residential jobs.
Economical to cover a large area.
What we actually install
Economical sealed or coated corridors.
Prep is most of the work and all of the reason coatings last. Trolleys, boxes and dragged furniture.

Single day install is standard here. The waiting afterwards is just cure time.
What the install actually looks like
We open up the surface and see what we are actually dealing with.
No two slabs in Jones County behave the same way. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Economical sealed or coated corridors.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
A family operation out of Laurel, running since 2021. That matters on a self storage epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Used a lot of flooring companies over the years on various jobs and lemme tell you you’re in good hands with these guys. From the quote to the finished job they were nothing short of professional.Verified review

The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a self storage epoxy job
Control joints and cracks are not the same thing and get treated differently. A control joint is doing a job and needs to stay flexible. A crack is failure and gets chased out, filled with a rigid polyurea and ground flat before anything goes over it.
Exterior concrete has UV and thermal cycling on top of everything else. Materials that are fine indoors amber and chalk outside, so exterior work gets a UV-stable topcoat as standard.
The system we specify
Epoxy is the body of the system and polyaspartic is the armour. The epoxy bonds and builds thickness, the topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV. Using one without the other is where most cheap floors go wrong.
Slip resistance comes from profile, not from an additive stirred in at the end. Where a floor will be wet we build the texture in with graded aggregate and we tell you how it will feel underfoot.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Small floors, specific problems
A small commercial floor is not a scaled down warehouse. The problems are concentrated. One wet area, one chair that rotates in the same spot every day, one chemical that gets spilled constantly. Specifying the whole room for the worst square meter is usually cheaper than specifying it for the average and repairing the worst part later.
The other reality is that these rooms cannot close. A barbershop or a salon loses its income the day it shuts. That pushes the work to a single overnight or weekend install with a fast-cure system, which is entirely doable as long as it is planned that way from the start rather than discovered halfway through.

How we handle small commercial work
Long corridors that dust constantly.
What this floor has to put up with
Trolleys, boxes and dragged furniture. Economical sealed or coated corridors. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a self storage epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Economical to cover a large area. Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
Living with the floor afterwards
If something is spilled that should not be there, wipe it rather than leaving it to sit. Coatings are resistant, not immune, and contact time is what decides whether resistance matters.
Do not use degreasers with high pH on a regular basis. They will dull a clear coat over time. Neutral cleaner and water handles almost everything.
From Laurel we cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish. If you are inside about a hundred miles, we will come and look at the slab. See the areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
Do you need the space for more than a day?
We grind, coat and topcoat in one visit on most residential jobs.
What do you do before any resin goes down?
Economical sealed or coated corridors. Preparation is the part customers never see and always pay for twice if it is skipped.
Does it cope with the loads in here?
Trolleys, boxes and dragged furniture. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Is my area inside your radius?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Who will be in my building?
Kevin started ICM in 2021. The team that keeps it going is Aaron Garner, Kyler Welch and Averie Garner.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
Does a cracked slab rule this out?
A slab that has been acid etched instead of ground has an inconsistent profile. Some areas take the coating and some do not, and you cannot tell which until it fails. We grind regardless of what was done before.
How do I stop it wearing?
Furniture and jack stands want pads under them. Point loads with sharp edges are the realistic way a residential floor gets damaged.
Why does the topcoat matter?
Quartz systems are built in layers, broadcast and troweled rather than rolled. It is slower to install and it is the toughest, grippiest thing we lay.
