Quick Lube Epoxy that survives the room
Oil hits the floor every single day. Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
Oil wipes off instead of soaking in.
What we actually install
Oil-resistant epoxy with a cleanable texture.
Before anything is mixed we know what the floor is sitting on. Constant drips, pit edges and fast turnover.

Cure
Residential floors are usually a one day job start to finish.
What the install actually looks like
We look at the concrete first and the color chart second.
Every job starts the same way, with the slab itself. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Oil-resistant epoxy with a cleanable texture.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. One day down for most homes. Commercial work is phased to your hours.
Family run out of Laurel since 2021, Duraflex certified. That matters on a quick lube epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Choosing somebody to do our Floors was a hard decision but I am so happy we picked ICM coating masters. The results are beautiful and The time and effort put into the work was amazing.Verified review

What we find under a quick lube epoxy job
Slabs with in-floor heat or embedded conduit change how aggressively we can grind. We locate it first rather than finding it with a diamond.

The system we specify
Clear topcoats are not all clear. Some amber noticeably within a year indoors under LED light. We use ones that do not.
Coving at the wall turns a floor into a sealed basin. In kitchens, kennels and wet rooms that detail is the whole point, because water stops finding the joint between floor and wall.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
What a working shop does to a floor
Shop floors fail in specific places for specific reasons. Under the lift posts because the load is concentrated. At the bay entrance because that is where wet tires and road salt land first. Around the parts washer because solvent sits there. A floor specified as a single uniform build across the whole shop is being optimised for the easiest part of the room.
Hot tire pickup is the failure people know by name. A tire that has been on the interstate comes in hot and soft, sits on the coating, and when it cools it grips the finish harder than the finish grips the concrete. Cheap single-coat epoxy lifts in patches shaped like tires. A flake build with a polyaspartic topcoat does not, because the topcoat is harder than the plasticiser coming out of the rubber.
A typical garage is a one day install. You are walking on it that evening.
How we build for a shop
Oil hits the floor every single day.
What this floor has to put up with
Constant drips, pit edges and fast turnover. Oil-resistant epoxy with a cleanable texture. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a quick lube epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Oil wipes off instead of soaking in. Most jobs need one day of our time and none of yours.
Living with the floor afterwards
Snow and road salt tracked in should be rinsed off rather than left to dry. Salt is more aggressive to the concrete than to the coating.

From Laurel we cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish. If you are inside about a hundred miles, we will come and look at the slab. See the areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
How long before we can use the room again?
Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
How much of the job is preparation?
Oil-resistant epoxy with a cleanable texture. No two slabs in Jones County behave the same way.
How durable is it in practice?
Constant drips, pit edges and fast turnover. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Are you working in Alabama and Louisiana too?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Who runs the job?
Family run since 2021, and the same four people who quote your floor are the ones who install it.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
What if there is already a coating on it?
Basement and below-grade slabs are damp by default. A coating that works in a garage will not necessarily hold down there, so those rooms get a system chosen for moisture rather than for looks.
What should I avoid doing to it?
Pressure washing exterior coated concrete is fine at sensible pressure. Holding a turbo nozzle in one place is not.
What makes the difference long term?
Dark floors show dust and light floors show tire marks. There is no color that hides everything, and we would rather say that than sell a finish that disappoints.
