What the install actually looks like
We start by finding the cracks nobody mentioned.
First we make the slab ready, then the finish is the easy part. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Seamless, cleanable, coved where required.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. A typical garage is a one day install. You are walking on it that evening.

What we find under a dispensary epoxy job
Concrete that has been under carpet or tile carries adhesive, and old adhesives vary from water soluble to essentially permanent. Identifying which one is on the floor decides whether it is a grinding job or a full removal.
Where a floor has been patched repeatedly with different products, each patch behaves differently under a grinder and under resin. Sometimes the right call is removing the patches entirely.
The system we specify
Primers, base, broadcast and topcoat are four separate products that have to be compatible. Mixing brands across layers is how delamination happens.
The chip blend changes how a floor hides dirt. Multi-tone blends with some dark in them stay looking clean far longer than a single pale colour.

A retail floor is doing two jobs at once
It has to survive the traffic and it has to look like part of the fit-out. Those pull in opposite directions. The most durable finishes are textured and dark, and the finishes that photograph well are smooth and bright. Where a floor lands between those is a decision worth making deliberately rather than by default.
The practical constraint in retail is almost always time. You cannot close for a week. That means phasing the work, or working nights, or using a fast-cure system that is walkable before you open. All three are possible and they cost differently, so it is worth saying up front which one matters most to you.

Living with the floor afterwards
A dust mop twice a week does more for the look of a floor than any product you can buy.
Maintenance is a dust mop and occasionally a neutral cleaner. No wax, no sealing, no annual reapplication. If someone tells you a coated floor needs yearly maintenance, they are describing their own product failing.

Can I see the colour before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colours read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
How do you deal with a poor slab?
Control joints and cracks are not the same thing and get treated differently. A control joint is doing a job and needs to stay flexible. A crack is failure and gets chased out, filled with a rigid polyurea and ground flat before anything goes over it.

Why specify a full system?
Slip resistance comes from profile, not from an additive stirred in at the end. Where a floor will be wet we build the texture in with graded aggregate and we tell you how it will feel underfoot.
