What we install here
Exterior concrete has UV and thermal cycling on top of everything else. Materials that are fine indoors amber and chalk outside, so exterior work gets a UV-stable topcoat as standard.
Dark floors show dust and light floors show tyre marks. There is no colour that hides everything, and we would rather say that than sell a finish that disappoints.
Clear topcoats are not all clear. Some amber noticeably within a year indoors under LED light. We use ones that do not.

Full flake
Full flake broadcast means chip thrown to refusal, so the floor is a continuous layer of vinyl rather than a base coat with decoration on it. That is what gives the texture its grip and what stops the colour wearing through. More on full flake.
Metallic
Metallic pigment is moved by hand while the resin is still open, so no two floors are the same. That is the appeal and it also means the installer matters more than the product. More on metallic.
Polished concrete
Polished concrete uses a densifier that reacts chemically with the slab, hardening it rather than coating it. There is nothing to peel because there is no film. More on polished concrete.
Moisture, contamination and surface profile are the three things that decide whether a floor lasts. Colour is the easy part and the only part most people ask about.
Keep grit off it and a coated floor lasts. Grit under a tyre or a boot is abrasive, and abrasion is the only thing that genuinely wears a good topcoat.

Living with the floor
Snow and road salt tracked in should be rinsed off rather than left to dry. Salt is more aggressive to the concrete than to the coating.
Do not use degreasers with high pH on a regular basis. They will dull a clear coat over time. Neutral cleaner and water handles almost everything.

Commercial and industrial work in Jackson County
Commercial work in a town this size is usually small and specific. One wet room, one kitchen, one shop floor that has to be closed for the shortest possible time. Those jobs get planned around opening hours from the first conversation.
Sheds and outbuildings on slab are worth coating if they are being used for anything beyond storage. Unsealed concrete in an outbuilding is the dustiest floor most people own.
Moisture-tolerant primers exist for a reason and cost more for a reason. On a damp slab they are the difference between a floor and a warranty claim.

How the day runs
We open up the surface and see what we are actually dealing with. The grinder and the extraction come in first, and the opening stretch of any job is dust control rather than visible progress.
Once the slab is open we chase the cracks, take down the high spots and remove whatever was on the floor before. One day install, 12 hours to walk, 48 to drive.

We work out of Laurel and cover roughly a hundred miles in every direction.
