Epoxy Flooring done in a day
Bare slab dusts, stains and telegraphs every oil drip. One day on site for most homes. Full cure for vehicles is 48 hours.
Most people call once the dust gets on everything they own.
What we actually install
Diamond grind to open the pores, patch the cracks, then a pigmented epoxy base with a clear topcoat.
We look at the concrete first and the color chart second. Handles rolling loads, dropped tools and hot tire pickup.

How the day runs
You lose the garage for a day, not a week.
Four names, one crew. Kevin Garner built the company in 2021 to pass it on.
What the install actually looks like
Prep is most of the work and all of the reason coatings last.
The floor tells us what it needs before we quote anything. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Diamond grind to open the pores, patch the cracks, then a pigmented epoxy base with a clear topcoat.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
A family operation out of Laurel, running since 2021. That matters on a epoxy flooring job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Used a lot of flooring companies over the years on various jobs and lemme tell you you’re in good hands with these guys. From the quote to the finished job they were nothing short of professional.Verified review
Other systems floors we coat
The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a epoxy flooring job
A lot of the slabs we open up have been sealed at some point with an acrylic nobody remembers. It reads as clean concrete until the diamonds hit it and the surface loads up. That is a full mechanical removal, not a light scuff, and it changes the day.
Concrete that has been under carpet or tile carries adhesive, and old adhesives vary from water soluble to essentially permanent. Identifying which one is on the floor decides whether it is a grinding job or a full removal.
The system we specify
Full flake broadcast means chip thrown to refusal, so the floor is a continuous layer of vinyl rather than a base coat with decoration on it. That is what gives the texture its grip and what stops the color wearing through.
Primers, base, broadcast and topcoat are four separate products that have to be compatible. Mixing brands across layers is how delamination happens.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Why the system matters more than the color
A resin floor is four products stacked in order, and each one has a job. The primer wets into the open concrete and grips. The base coat builds thickness and carries the pigment. The broadcast layer, whether that is vinyl flake or graded quartz, gives the floor its texture and most of its wear resistance. The topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV so the layers underneath never see either.
Skip a layer and the floor still looks right on day one. It fails in month eight, usually along the door line where the sun hits or in the wheel tracks where the load concentrates. That is the difference between a coating and a system, and it is not visible in a photograph.
Single day install is standard here. The waiting afterwards is just cure time.
What we check before quoting
Bare slab dusts, stains and telegraphs every oil drip.
What this floor has to put up with
Handles rolling loads, dropped tools and hot tire pickup. Diamond grind to open the pores, patch the cracks, then a pigmented epoxy base with a clear topcoat. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a epoxy flooring job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Most people call once the dust gets on everything they own. A day on site is the normal answer for a residential floor.
Living with the floor afterwards
Do not use degreasers with high pH on a regular basis. They will dull a clear coat over time. Neutral cleaner and water handles almost everything.
Hot tire pickup is a failure mode of cheap coatings, not of a properly installed flake and polyaspartic build. You can park on it hot without lifting the finish.
The service area runs from Jones County out to the coast and along it. Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula in Mississippi, Gulf Shores and Foley in Alabama, Covington and Slidell in Louisiana. See the areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
Do you need the space for more than a day?
One day on site for most homes. Full cure for vehicles is 48 hours.
What do you do before any resin goes down?
Diamond grind to open the pores, patch the cracks, then a pigmented epoxy base with a clear topcoat. Every job starts the same way, with the slab itself.
Does it cope with the loads in here?
Handles rolling loads, dropped tools and hot tire pickup. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Is my area inside your radius?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Who will be in my building?
Started 2021, family owned, and the people on your floor are the people who own it.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
Does a cracked slab rule this out?
New pours need to cure before they are coated, and the wait is longer than most people expect. Coating green concrete traps water under the film. We would rather push the date than come back to a blistered floor.
How do I stop it wearing?
In a commercial kitchen the cleaning routine is the maintenance plan, and the floor is specified around the chemistry you already use.
Why does the topcoat matter?
Epoxy is the body of the system and polyaspartic is the armour. The epoxy bonds and builds thickness, the topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV. Using one without the other is where most cheap floors go wrong.
