Control joints and cracks are not the same thing and get treated differently. A control joint is doing a job and needs to stay flexible. A crack is failure and gets chased out, filled with a rigid polyurea and ground flat before anything goes over it.
What a Leakesville job usually involves
We get asked about basements less here than on higher ground, but where there is one it is damp by default, and a coating that works in a garage will not necessarily hold down there.
Most jobs need one day of our time and none of yours.
Patios and porches are the other half of the residential work in this area. Exterior concrete goes gray, grows algae in the shade and turns slick when it rains, and a UV-stable textured coating solves all three at once.
Where a property has been rented out the slab has usually had a harder life than the owner realises. We would rather look at it than quote off a description.
The slab decides the spec.
Before we quote anything
Power troweled warehouse floors are the hardest substrate we deal with. The surface is dense, sealed by the process itself, and needs aggressive metal-bond diamonds before anything will stick.
Thickness is specified from the load, not from a brochure. A residential garage and a forklift aisle both get epoxy, and they are not the same floor.
Living with it afterwards
The honest maintenance answer is that there is almost none, and that is most of why people choose it.
A dust mop twice a week does more for the look of a floor than any product you can buy.

Commercial work around Leakesville
Storage rooms, laundry rooms and utility spaces come up often enough to mention. Small floors, quick installs, and usually the same system as a garage at a smaller scale.
Older neighborhoods mean older slabs, and older slabs mean previous coatings. Finding out what is already on the floor is the first thing we do, because removing an old acrylic changes the length of the job.
The full roster runs to seventy five different rooms, from garages through to food plants and clean rooms. It is all on the services page.
Why the prep matters more than the color
Older residential slabs in Jones County often have a soft top layer from being finished too wet. It looks solid and crumbles under a grinder. If we find that, the fix is grinding past it to sound concrete rather than coating over a layer that is already failing.
Concrete that has been under carpet or tile carries adhesive, and old adhesives vary from water soluble to essentially permanent. Identifying which one is on the floor decides whether it is a grinding job or a full removal.
Polished concrete uses a densifier that reacts chemically with the slab, hardening it rather than coating it. There is nothing to peel because there is no film.
Grinding is most of the job.

Used a lot of flooring companies over the years on various jobs and lemme tell you you’re in good hands with these guys. From the quote to the finished job they were nothing short of professional.Verified review
How the day runs
The floor tells us what it needs before we quote anything. We arrive with the grinder and the dust extraction, and the first stretch is noise and containment rather than anything that looks like progress. Getting the slab open and clean is what the rest of the day depends on.
Cracks get chased out and filled, high spots come down, and any old coating comes off rather than getting buried. Then the primer goes on and the day becomes a sequence with cure windows in it. Most of our residential installs are complete within a single working day.
Started 2021, family owned, and the people on your floor are the people who own it. Nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor because it is the same people doing both.
Hot tire pickup is a failure mode of cheap coatings, not of a properly installed flake and polyaspartic build. You can park on it hot without lifting the finish. If you want to see blends first, the chip deck comes to you, and there are finished floors on the gallery page.
Leakesville questions
Do you cover Leakesville?
Yes. We are based in Laurel and Leakesville is inside our normal working radius.
How long does a garage take?
One day install, 12 hours to walk, 48 to drive.
What is the slab likely to need?
Rural east Mississippi. Workshops, barns and residential garages. Salt is the quiet problem on coast jobs. It comes in on tires, soaks into unsealed concrete, and sits there pushing back out. Grinding removes the loaded surface layer so the new floor is not fighting it from day one.
Can you match a color?
Yes. The chip deck comes to you so you choose against your own light.
Do you do commercial work here?
Yes. Shops, kitchens, clinics and warehouses across Greene County.
How do I get a quote?
Call 601-319-9619 and describe the room, or send the details and we will come look at the slab.
