What we install here
Salt is the quiet problem on coast jobs. It comes in on tires, soaks into unsealed concrete, and sits there pushing back out. Grinding removes the loaded surface layer so the new floor is not fighting it from day one.
Cure times are temperature dependent, and a garage in August behaves differently from the same garage in January. We schedule around it rather than pretending it does not matter.
Metallic pigment is moved by hand while the resin is still open, so no two floors are the same. That is the appeal and it also means the installer matters more than the product.
The systems people ask about most
Full flake
Full flake broadcast means chip thrown to refusal, so the floor is a continuous layer of vinyl rather than a base coat with decoration on it. That is what gives the texture its grip and what stops the color wearing through. More on full flake.
Metallic
Metallic pigment is moved by hand while the resin is still open, so no two floors are the same. That is the appeal and it also means the installer matters more than the product. More on metallic.
Polished concrete
Polished concrete uses a densifier that reacts chemically with the slab, hardening it rather than coating it. There is nothing to peel because there is no film. More on polished concrete.
Moisture, contamination and surface profile are the three things that decide whether a floor lasts. Color is the easy part and the only part most people ask about.
The honest maintenance answer is that there is almost none, and that is most of why people choose it.
Patios and porches are the other half of the residential work in this area. Exterior concrete goes gray, grows algae in the shade and turns slick when it rains, and a UV-stable textured coating solves all three at once.

One visit, one day, then 48 hours before the car goes back on.
Detached shops and workshops are common on the bigger lots, and those slabs are a different job. They are often unsealed, frequently damp because there is no vapor barrier underneath, and they have usually had something spilled on them. Moisture testing decides the system.
A lot of the calls we take start with somebody having tried a big-box garage floor kit. Those sit on top of sealed concrete and peel, and the removal is more work than the original job would have been.
Living with the floor
A coated floor can be repaired in place. Damage gets ground back locally, rebuilt and blended, which is not possible with tile or with polished concrete.
If a crack appears in the slab years later, that is the concrete moving, not the coating failing. It can be chased and repaired without redoing the floor.
Most asked for
Commercial and industrial work in Simpson County
The honest answer for most homes in this area is that it is a one day job on a sound slab, and the only thing that changes that is what we find when we start grinding.
Driveway aprons are worth mentioning because they are a separate pour from the garage slab and they move independently. The transition between them gets detailed deliberately rather than coated straight across.
Dark floors show dust and light floors show tire marks. There is no color that hides everything, and we would rather say that than sell a finish that disappoints.
Where we are coming from
The service area runs from Jones County out to the coast and along it. Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula in Mississippi, Gulf Shores and Foley in Alabama, Covington and Slidell in Louisiana.
Full list on the service areas page.
How the day runs
Moisture gets tested before resin gets opened. The grinder and the extraction come in first, and the opening stretch of any job is dust control rather than visible progress.
Once the slab is open we chase the cracks, take down the high spots and remove whatever was on the floor before. Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
Since 2021 this has been Kevin, Aaron, Kyler and Averie. No subcontractors sent in your place.
If a crack appears in the slab years later, that is the concrete moving, not the coating failing. It can be chased and repaired without redoing the floor. Blends are on the finishes page and finished work is in the gallery.
Simpson County questions
Which towns in Simpson County do you cover?
All of them. Mendenhall, Magee.
How far will you travel?
We work out of Laurel and cover roughly a hundred miles in every direction. That takes in Jones County, Rankin, Simpson and Lamar to the north and west, the whole Mississippi coast from Bay St. Louis through Biloxi to Pascagoula, across into Baldwin and Mobile County in Alabama, and west to St. Tammany Parish.
Residential and commercial?
Both. Garages and patios through to kitchens, warehouses and clinics.
How long does an install take?
One day, one crew, then cure time does the rest.
What about the slab condition?
Gulf Coast concrete carries moisture. Slabs poured on sand without a vapor barrier wick water up through the mix continuously, and that vapor pressure is what lifts a coating months after it looked perfect. We test for it before quoting, because the honest answer sometimes is a moisture-tolerant system rather than standard epoxy.
How do I start?
Call 601-319-9619 or send the details and we will come look.
Pick up the phone and ask. No pressure either way.
