What the install actually looks like
The slab sets the spec, not the brochure.
We start by finding the cracks nobody mentioned. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. High build epoxy or urethane cement, thickness set by the load and the chemistry on site.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. We are in and out in a day on most garages, then the floor cures.

The system we specify
Quartz systems are built in layers, broadcast and troweled rather than rolled. It is slower to install and it is the toughest, grippiest thing we lay.
Where chemical exposure is specific, the resin is chosen against the actual list. Novolac epoxies handle acids that standard epoxy does not.

Why the system matters more than the colour
A resin floor is four products stacked in order, and each one has a job. The primer wets into the open concrete and grips. The base coat builds thickness and carries the pigment. The broadcast layer, whether that is vinyl flake or graded quartz, gives the floor its texture and most of its wear resistance. The topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV so the layers underneath never see either.
Skip a layer and the floor still looks right on day one. It fails in month eight, usually along the door line where the sun hits or in the wheel tracks where the load concentrates. That is the difference between a coating and a system, and it is not visible in a photograph.
Residential floors are usually a one day job start to finish.

Living with the floor afterwards
Sunlight through a garage door will fade a cheap floor unevenly along the door line. UV-stable topcoats exist precisely for that.
Coated floors do not need to be stripped and resealed, which is where the savings against VCT actually come from.

Where abouts do you work?
Yes. We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Who am I actually hiring?
This is a family crew. Kevin founded it in 2021 and works alongside Aaron, Kyler and Averie.
Can I see the colour before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colours read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
What if the floor is damp?
Control joints and cracks are not the same thing and get treated differently. A control joint is doing a job and needs to stay flexible. A crack is failure and gets chased out, filled with a rigid polyurea and ground flat before anything goes over it.
Do I need to reseal it?
Do not drag steel across it. Lift it, or put something under it.
What stops it peeling?
Polyaspartic topcoats cure faster and hold colour better under UV than standard epoxy clears. They also go down in a wider temperature window, which matters when you are working through a Mississippi summer.
