Aerospace Facility Epoxy that survives the room
Hydraulic fluid, static and tight tolerance. Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
Meets the spec the auditor asks for.
What we actually install
ESD-capable options, fluid resistant, flat.
A coating is only as good as the grind under it. Tooling, aircraft loads and clean standards.

What the install actually looks like
Prep is most of the work and all of the reason coatings last.
The slab sets the spec, not the brochure. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. ESD-capable options, fluid resistant, flat.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. We are in and out in a day on most garages, then the floor cures.
Four names, one crew. Kevin Garner built the company in 2021 to pass it on. That matters on a aerospace facility epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.

Other industrial floors we coat
The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a aerospace facility epoxy job
Commercial slabs that have been in service take oil deep into the pores. Surface degreasing does not reach it, and resin will not bond through it. We grind it out, and where contamination runs deep we prime with something built to tolerate it.
Concrete that has been under carpet or tile carries adhesive, and old adhesives vary from water soluble to essentially permanent. Identifying which one is on the floor decides whether it is a grinding job or a full removal.
The system we specify
Pigments are not all equally stable. Reds and yellows fade fastest under UV, so exterior work uses pigments chosen for it rather than the same colors we would use in a closed garage.
Where chemical exposure is specific, the resin is chosen against the actual list. Novolac epoxies handle acids that standard epoxy does not.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Load, chemistry and temperature decide everything
An industrial floor is specified from three numbers: the heaviest point load it will carry, the chemicals it will contact, and the temperature range it will cycle through. Get those right and the floor is straightforward. Guess at them and you get a floor that looks correct and fails in the one area that mattered.
Thermal shock is the one most often missed. A slab that gets hosed with hot water and then sits cold expands and contracts against a rigid coating until the bond gives up. Cementitious urethane handles that because it moves with the concrete. Standard epoxy does not, regardless of how thick it is laid.
Residential floors are usually a one day job start to finish.
What we need to know before specifying
Hydraulic fluid, static and tight tolerance.
What this floor has to put up with
Tooling, aircraft loads and clean standards. ESD-capable options, fluid resistant, flat. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a aerospace facility epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Meets the spec the auditor asks for. Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
Living with the floor afterwards
A coated floor can be repaired in place. Damage gets ground back locally, rebuilt and blended, which is not possible with tile or with polished concrete.

Laurel is home, and from here we reach Hattiesburg, Jackson, the Gulf Coast, coastal Alabama and the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain comfortably. Coast jobs and Baldwin County work are a normal week for us. See the areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
How long does a aerospace facility epoxy job take?
Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
What preparation does aerospace facility epoxy need?
ESD-capable options, fluid resistant, flat. What goes wrong with coatings almost always goes wrong underneath them.
Can it take the wear this room gets?
Tooling, aircraft loads and clean standards. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Is it your own crew?
Kevin Garner founded ICM in 2021 wanting work he could hand down. Aaron, Kyler and Averie make that possible.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
What do you find under a floor like this?
Some floors do not need coating at all. If the slab is sound and the use is light, polishing or sealing the concrete itself is cheaper and lasts longer. We will say so.
What maintenance does it need?
In a commercial kitchen the cleaning routine is the maintenance plan, and the floor is specified around the chemistry you already use.
What am I paying for in the build?
Everything we install is a system that has been tested as a system. That is the practical value of working to a manufacturer spec instead of improvising.
Pick up the phone and ask. No pressure either way.
