What we actually install

Solvent-resistant seamless coating.

No two slabs in Jones County behave the same way. Pedicure spas, water and chemicals.

How the day runs

Grind

Solvent-resistant seamless coating.

Build

Cure

Single day install is standard here. The waiting afterwards is just cure time.

What the install actually looks like

Before anything is mixed we know what the floor is sitting on.

Good floors are decided during prep, not during the pour. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Solvent-resistant seamless coating.

Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. One day on site for most homes. Full cure for vehicles is 48 hours.

Kevin built the company in 2021 around doing the work they promised. The crew has not changed. That matters on a nail salon epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.

The slab decides the spec.

What we find under a nail salon epoxy job

Garage aprons and interior slabs are usually separate pours at different times, and they move independently. The transition between them gets detailed deliberately so the coating does not split along that line.

Exterior concrete has UV and thermal cycling on top of everything else. Materials that are fine indoors amber and chalk outside, so exterior work gets a UV-stable topcoat as standard.

The system we specify

Metallic pigment is moved by hand while the resin is still open, so no two floors are the same. That is the appeal and it also means the installer matters more than the product.

Epoxy is the body of the system and polyaspartic is the armour. The epoxy bonds and builds thickness, the topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV. Using one without the other is where most cheap floors go wrong.

Specified from the load, not a brochure.

Small floors, specific problems

A small commercial floor is not a scaled down warehouse. The problems are concentrated. One wet area, one chair that rotates in the same spot every day, one chemical that gets spilled constantly. Specifying the whole room for the worst square meter is usually cheaper than specifying it for the average and repairing the worst part later.

The other reality is that these rooms cannot close. A barbershop or a salon loses its income the day it shuts. That pushes the work to a single overnight or weekend install with a fast-cure system, which is entirely doable as long as it is planned that way from the start rather than discovered halfway through.

Single day turnaround on typical residential slabs.

How we handle small commercial work

·Single visit install wherever the cure window allows it
·Chemical resistance matched to what is actually used in the room
·Non-porous coved detail in any wet or hosed area
·Color and sheen chosen to hide the specific mess the room makes

Acetone and acrylic dust.

What this floor has to put up with

Pedicure spas, water and chemicals. Solvent-resistant seamless coating. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a nail salon epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.

Acetone stops marking the floor. Residential floors are usually a one day job start to finish.

Living with the floor afterwards

Expect the finish to look the same in five years if it is looked after. That is the point of specifying properly rather than cheaply.

If something is spilled that should not be there, wipe it rather than leaving it to sit. Coatings are resistant, not immune, and contact time is what decides whether resistance matters.

Laurel is home, and from here we reach Hattiesburg, Jackson, the Gulf Coast, coastal Alabama and the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain comfortably. Coast jobs and Baldwin County work are a normal week for us. See the areas we cover.

Questions we get asked

Is nail salon epoxy a one day install?

Single day turnaround on typical residential slabs.

How do you prepare the concrete?

Solvent-resistant seamless coating. Preparation is the part customers never see and always pay for twice if it is skipped.

Is it tough enough for daily use?

Pedicure spas, water and chemicals. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.

Do you work outside Laurel?

We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.

Who turns up on the day?

Kevin founded ICM Coating Masters in 2021 and still runs jobs himself.

Can I see the color before deciding?

Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.

What happens if the slab has problems?

Concrete that has been under carpet or tile carries adhesive, and old adhesives vary from water soluble to essentially permanent. Identifying which one is on the floor decides whether it is a grinding job or a full removal.

Is it hard to keep looking good?

If something is spilled that should not be there, wipe it rather than leaving it to sit. Coatings are resistant, not immune, and contact time is what decides whether resistance matters.

What makes the system last?

Cementitious urethane costs more than epoxy and outlives it in any wet or thermally cycled room. In a brewery or a food plant it is not an upgrade, it is the correct product.

Reach out and we will schedule a look at the slab.
