Showroom Epoxy that survives the room
Flat floors kill the lighting. Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
The product looks better standing on it.
What we actually install
Metallic or mirror polish under directional light.
Before anything is mixed we know what the floor is sitting on. Light foot traffic, occasional stock movement.

Cure
Residential floors are usually a one day job start to finish.
What the install actually looks like
We would rather spend the morning grinding than come back in a year.
Moisture gets tested before resin gets opened. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Metallic or mirror polish under directional light.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
Since 2021 this has been Kevin, Aaron, Kyler and Averie. No subcontractors sent in your place. That matters on a showroom epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Aaron and his crew did a fantastic job, friendly and professional.Verified review
Other retail floors we coat
The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a showroom epoxy job
Slabs with in-floor heat or embedded conduit change how aggressively we can grind. We locate it first rather than finding it with a diamond.
Power troweled warehouse floors are the hardest substrate we deal with. The surface is dense, sealed by the process itself, and needs aggressive metal-bond diamonds before anything will stick.
The system we specify
Clear topcoats are not all clear. Some amber noticeably within a year indoors under LED light. We use ones that do not.
The chip blend changes how a floor hides dirt. Multi-tone blends with some dark in them stay looking clean far longer than a single pale color.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
A retail floor is doing two jobs at once
It has to survive the traffic and it has to look like part of the fit-out. Those pull in opposite directions. The most durable finishes are textured and dark, and the finishes that photograph well are smooth and bright. Where a floor lands between those is a decision worth making deliberately rather than by default.
The practical constraint in retail is almost always time. You cannot close for a week. That means phasing the work, or working nights, or using a fast-cure system that is walkable before you open. All three are possible and they cost differently, so it is worth saying up front which one matters most to you.
One day, one crew, then cure time does the rest.
What we plan around
Flat floors kill the lighting.
What this floor has to put up with
Light foot traffic, occasional stock movement. Metallic or mirror polish under directional light. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a showroom epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
The product looks better standing on it. We are in and out in a day on most garages, then the floor cures.
Living with the floor afterwards
Snow and road salt tracked in should be rinsed off rather than left to dry. Salt is more aggressive to the concrete than to the coating.
Warehouse floors want a scrubber with the right pad, not the most aggressive one available.
From Laurel we cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish. If you are inside about a hundred miles, we will come and look at the slab. See the areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
What is the turnaround on showroom epoxy?
Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
What does the first stage involve?
Metallic or mirror polish under directional light. No two slabs in Jones County behave the same way.
Will it hold up long term?
Light foot traffic, occasional stock movement. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Do you cover the whole Gulf Coast?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Is the owner on site?
Kevin Garner started this in 2021 to build something the family could keep. Aaron, Kyler and Averie run the jobs with him.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
How do you deal with a poor slab?
Exterior concrete has UV and thermal cycling on top of everything else. Materials that are fine indoors amber and chalk outside, so exterior work gets a UV-stable topcoat as standard.
What upkeep is involved?
Do not drag steel across it. Lift it, or put something under it.
Why specify a full system?
Cementitious urethane costs more than epoxy and outlives it in any wet or thermally cycled room. In a brewery or a food plant it is not an upgrade, it is the correct product.
