Cleanroom Epoxy that survives the room
Particle shedding fails the classification. Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
Holds the classification it was specified to.
What we actually install
Non-shedding seamless system, coved and sealed.
A coating is only as good as the grind under it. Controlled access, gowned traffic.

Cure
Most residential floors go down in a single day. Walk on it in 12 hours, move heavy things at 24, park on it at 48.
What the install actually looks like
Prep is most of the work and all of the reason coatings last.
Before anything is mixed we know what the floor is sitting on. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Non-shedding seamless system, coved and sealed.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. A day on site is the normal answer for a residential floor.
Kevin started it in 2021. Five years on it is still the same four people. That matters on a cleanroom epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.
Used a lot of flooring companies over the years on various jobs and lemme tell you you’re in good hands with these guys. From the quote to the finished job they were nothing short of professional.Verified review

The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a cleanroom epoxy job
Commercial slabs that have been in service take oil deep into the pores. Surface degreasing does not reach it, and resin will not bond through it. We grind it out, and where contamination runs deep we prime with something built to tolerate it.
Older residential slabs in Jones County often have a soft top layer from being finished too wet. It looks solid and crumbles under a grinder. If we find that, the fix is grinding past it to sound concrete rather than coating over a layer that is already failing.
The system we specify
Pigments are not all equally stable. Reds and yellows fade fastest under UV, so exterior work uses pigments chosen for it rather than the same colors we would use in a closed garage.
Thickness is specified from the load, not from a brochure. A residential garage and a forklift aisle both get epoxy, and they are not the same floor.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Seamless is the whole specification
In a clinical room the floor is an infection control surface. Every joint, every grout line and every junction between floor and wall is somewhere organic material can sit where cleaning does not reach. A poured resin floor with coved skirting removes those places entirely, which is why it is specified for theatres and clean areas rather than tile.
The second requirement is chemical tolerance. Clinical cleaning is aggressive and continuous, and it is the cleaning rather than the foot traffic that destroys an unsuitable floor. We choose the resin against the disinfectant regime that is actually in use, and we detail the coving to the drains so the room can be washed rather than mopped.
One day on site for most homes. Full cure for vehicles is 48 hours.
What clinical work involves
Particle shedding fails the classification.
What this floor has to put up with
Controlled access, gowned traffic. Non-shedding seamless system, coved and sealed. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a cleanroom epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Holds the classification it was specified to. One day install, 12 hours to walk, 48 to drive.
Living with the floor afterwards
A coated floor can be repaired in place. Damage gets ground back locally, rebuilt and blended, which is not possible with tile or with polished concrete.
Pressure washing exterior coated concrete is fine at sensible pressure. Holding a turbo nozzle in one place is not.
Laurel is home, and from here we reach Hattiesburg, Jackson, the Gulf Coast, coastal Alabama and the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain comfortably. Coast jobs and Baldwin County work are a normal week for us. See the areas we cover.
Questions we get asked
What is the turnaround on cleanroom epoxy?
Most houses are done inside a day, then 12 hours to foot traffic.
What does the first stage involve?
Non-shedding seamless system, coved and sealed. Preparation is the part customers never see and always pay for twice if it is skipped.
Will it hold up long term?
Controlled access, gowned traffic. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Do you cover the whole Gulf Coast?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Is the owner on site?
Kevin founded ICM Coating Masters in 2021 and still runs jobs himself.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
How do you deal with a poor slab?
Concrete keeps moving for years after it is poured, and it moves more near the coast where the ground is wet and sandy. That is why we detail edges and joints rather than laying one continuous rigid sheet and hoping.
What upkeep is involved?
Expect the finish to look the same in five years if it is looked after. That is the point of specifying properly rather than cheaply.
Why specify a full system?
Epoxy is the body of the system and polyaspartic is the armour. The epoxy bonds and builds thickness, the topcoat takes the abrasion and the UV. Using one without the other is where most cheap floors go wrong.
Pick up the phone and ask. No pressure either way.
Kevin Garner started this in 2021 to build something the family could keep. Aaron, Kyler and Averie run the jobs with him. Serving Laurel and south Mississippi, the Gulf Coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish. See finished floors or get in touch.
