Cure
A day on site is the normal answer for a residential floor.
What the install actually looks like
We open up the surface and see what we are actually dealing with.
A coating is only as good as the grind under it. We turn up with the grinder and the extraction first, and the first hour is dust and noise rather than anything that looks like progress. Low-sheen seamless build, warm pigment.
Once the slab is open and clean we chase any cracks, fill them, and grind those flat. Then the primer goes down, and from that point the day is a sequence with cure windows in it rather than a job you can rush. Grind in the morning, coat in the afternoon, walk on it that night.
Aaron, Kyler and Averie work with Kevin on every install. That is by design. That matters on a yoga studio epoxy job because the person who decided the spec is the person holding the squeegee, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the floor.

The slab decides the spec.
What we find under a yoga studio epoxy job
Where a floor has been patched repeatedly with different products, each patch behaves differently under a grinder and under resin. Sometimes the right call is removing the patches entirely.
Commercial slabs that have been in service take oil deep into the pores. Surface degreasing does not reach it, and resin will not bond through it. We grind it out, and where contamination runs deep we prime with something built to tolerate it.
The system we specify
The chip blend changes how a floor hides dirt. Multi-tone blends with some dark in them stay looking clean far longer than a single pale color.
Dark floors show dust and light floors show tire marks. There is no color that hides everything, and we would rather say that than sell a finish that disappoints.
Specified from the load, not a brochure.
Impact is a different problem from wear
Most floors are specified for abrasion, which is a slow surface problem. A gym floor has to survive impact, which is a sudden structural one. A dropped barbell delivers its whole energy into a few square inches, and a thin rigid coating over concrete will spall at that point no matter how hard the topcoat is.
The answer is build thickness in the drop zones and a topcoat with some flexibility rather than maximum hardness. Under matting the coating still matters, because sweat and cleaning water get under mats and sit there. A sealed non-porous floor under the mats is what stops that becoming a smell you cannot find the source of.
Most jobs need one day of our time and none of yours.
What we specify for training floors
Bare feet and a calm look.
What this floor has to put up with
Bare feet, light traffic. Low-sheen seamless build, warm pigment. That combination is what we specify against, and it is why a yoga studio epoxy job is quoted from the room rather than from a rate card.
Quiet underfoot and simple to clean. One day on site for most homes. Full cure for vehicles is 48 hours.
Living with the floor afterwards
If a crack appears in the slab years later, that is the concrete moving, not the coating failing. It can be chased and repaired without redoing the floor.
Hot tire pickup is a failure mode of cheap coatings, not of a properly installed flake and polyaspartic build. You can park on it hot without lifting the finish.
We work out of Laurel and cover roughly a hundred miles in every direction. That takes in Jones County, Rankin, Simpson and Lamar to the north and west, the whole Mississippi coast from Bay St. Louis through Biloxi to Pascagoula, across into Baldwin and Mobile County in Alabama, and west to St. Tammany Parish. Questions we get asked
Do you need the space for more than a day?
Most jobs need one day of our time and none of yours.
What do you do before any resin goes down?
Low-sheen seamless build, warm pigment. The first hour on site is spent on the concrete, not the color.
Does it cope with the loads in here?
Bare feet, light traffic. We specify the build thickness against the actual use, not a standard sheet.
Is my area inside your radius?
We cover south Mississippi, the coast, coastal Alabama and St. Tammany Parish, roughly a hundred miles out from Laurel.
Who will be in my building?
Four names, one crew. Kevin Garner built the company in 2021 to pass it on.
Can I see the color before deciding?
Yes. We bring the chip deck out and you pick the blend against your own light and your own walls. Colors read differently under LED, under a skylight and under a garage door that is half open, so choosing off a photograph is how people end up disappointed.
Does a cracked slab rule this out?
A slab that has been acid etched instead of ground has an inconsistent profile. Some areas take the coating and some do not, and you cannot tell which until it fails. We grind regardless of what was done before.
How do I stop it wearing?
Keep grit off it and a coated floor lasts. Grit under a tire or a boot is abrasive, and abrasion is the only thing that genuinely wears a good topcoat.
Why does the topcoat matter?
Everything we install is a system that has been tested as a system. That is the practical value of working to a manufacturer spec instead of improvising.
Call and describe the floor. We will know most of it from that.
